Exhaust cutout question
Ok is it safe to run with a cutoff open all the time? Only reason I ask is cuz someone told me I can burn my valves lol I dont know if this is just "guy in part store" throwing in his 2 cents....

It would however be loud; anoying and an illegal "cop attention" setup if you were driving in my 'hood.
You also gain nothing in the performance catagory. But if it's your definition of cool, then by all means.....

It's really not that loud IMO. I've had one for quite awhile now and my truck is quiet compared to some that I've heard. It does give it a real nice and gargled noise though.
If I could do it all over again I'd keep the stock exhaust piping with a cutout and maybe a large Magnaflow dumped before the axle. That would be cheap, give great performance and tone if you wanted it.

Well I know I wont gain performance but I heard another F-150 with one on and damn it sounded bada**. I just didnt want to ruin my engine from running one,as for illegal, yes I know but its ok I take that risk lol
