well I cant speak for the magnaflow but I just got a K&N intake about a month ago and I saw no mileage improvement. To me it was worth it for the power and sound but I don't think a nominal mileage increase will justify spending $250

Just installed AF 1 CAI and I'm not seeing any significant in mpg's I do notice
a definite improvement in the throttle response. to quote wxmcpo you don't install
a CAI for mpg improvement you do it for better performance out of your truck
(well might not be his exact words but along the same idea lol )

Thats why you are not seeing better mileage.. lol too hard on the go pedal. I am VERY happy with my K&N CAI and Magnaflow exhaust.

I know what your thinking but I'm not really as hard on it as you think my wife calls me a "granny driver" but when i have to get on it I do notice the difference but what I have noticed since the cai when I'm going up hills and obviously I'm in the gas a little more the mpg's don't seem to drop as fast, b/4 cai I could watch my mpg's go down quite quickly oh and I'm very happy with my cai my next step will be exhaust then I'll tie it all together with a tuner

you probably won't see any noticable increase in mpg's. at least not enough to justify what it costs.
