Default Exhaust

What exhaust do you get the most power out of and sounds the best for the 5.4L F150s? Also can you attach a link to where I can hear what they sound like.

Thank you in advance for any and all info .

Magnaflow have a straight thru design. Mellow at idle and good sound @ WOT. Flowmasters are loud but not a straight through. Borla is a good brand. Loud long lasting (1,000,000 mile warrantee) but expensive.

After reading about exhaust for months I decided to cut the factory y-pipe off and run true dual back to a dual inlet dual outlet Magnaflow, X flow muffler. This setup will gain more horse power and give your truck a deep growl and not loud.

Is that the set-up that magnaflow gives you or is this your project that you pieced together?

I had a local exhuast shop put this together for me. It has worked very well. I also had 100% welded. It's the only way to go.

I am curious as to what the impact is on Ford's warranty when installing a true dual exhaust on a newer truck? Currently driving a 07 F150 crew 4x4 5.4 with only @ 4500 miles and would like better hp. and sound but am spooked about mods on this new a vehicle....also wondering about the cost ... Anyone who has done this let me know if it was worth it.

Thanks, BD.

^True duals would void the warranty.
