[QUOTE=countryboyFx4;980589]flamehead thanks for chiming in with the corect termanology
ian t s be sure to post up some pics when its all finished if you wouldnt mind i would like to see how they weld in the o2 sensors because i am also thinking about high flow cats! are all of them universal or is there a specifiv part # through the various manufactures of high flows that our trucks need for the o2 sensors to read propely whats installed?[/Q

Yeah Ill post some pics but in the mean time if you check out stainless work.com, that's where I am getting it done and they have pics and vids of our trucks with there stuff installed. I am told that everything they install will not throw codes or confuse the computer. If there is an issue with a CEL because of the exhaust, I am sure I can fix it with the EVO that is coming shortly after the exhaust.

Called my tech this morning at ford....
He gave me the number to call ford customer service directly. I explained the situation to the guy on the phone and he said they will cross reference the info with my tech and get it handled for me. I am optimistic to this point, but since I removed the cat I am concerned that may disallow the warranty. I was straight forward with the claims guys and didn't BS him so maybe it might turn out for me.

Perry in national city.

Federal warranty would have covered the cat, but I cut the f'ing thing off. So I learned a $1400 lesson!
