How do i know if it is just the injectors that are making the noise?
Do you think it could be the hydraulic lifters? Is there a way to check? I remember hearing my mechanic mentioning that it may be the valves making the noise.
I just dont understand when the engine is not hot, it doesn't make any noise, not until about 10 minutes of driving thats when the tapping clicking noise starts when i am on idle or driving below speeds of 40-50 km/h. If i rev a little hard or go higher than 60km/h, the noise dissapears untill i let go the gas pedal. i am thinking of just replacing the injectors, but am afraid that it may not be the issue cos it is expensive the replace the whole set.
