I think you're mistaken...google 4.6 cam phaser...lots of stuff comes out.

Either mistaken or confused... I vote the first because of the second... this forum says there isn't any in the thread I just posted, Google says there are... I see that there are cam sprockets, obviously, but not seeing how they phase the camshaft... hmm. I have some reading to do.

heres a pic of a 4.6l 3v mustang. That looks like a regular phaser to me. Unless the 4.6 is somehow different in the mustang vs f150.

No, I agree, that definitely looks like the ones I pulled out of my truck, which is why I'm a bit confused. See, if I were to look at that picture cold, I'd say that's a 5.4L. Okay, this is annoying now.

As far as the Mustang goes, the 4.6 3v definitely has phasers. Like I said, unless the f150 has a different version of that engine, it too should have phasers.
