Engine Swap. 06 to 07 a direct swap?
Might be a dumb question, but I was wondering if the newer 5.4s could be directly swapped for the old ones. Don;t know if the redesigned heads make a difference. I'm a noob.

I had to get a new motor only a month ago and the 2004-2005 motors were NOT compatible with the 2006, and the 2006 was different than the 2007-2008.
Do your research first to be sure, this is what I was told by Jasper Engines. I may be remembering wrong (kinda doubt it) but maybe.... Good luck man!
