Default Engine Shake, Tick, and Knock

Just bought a 05 f1 with 90k miles. Engine tick and knocks both together which makes it sound exactly with a diesel. When it's idling you can see it have the occasional shake to it, and it ticks and it has a low knock to it. You can only hear the knock when it's idling and when it's warm. Cold- can't hear it at all only the tick. No codes are stored in the pcm. Seems to be louder on the right bank near the pass side. Could it be the phasers? I really hope it's not a rod knock.

Phasers, lifters, rollers... standard problems for this truck

Now...the cold tick...could be manifolds.
The shaking and 'dieseling' sounds like phaser issue

What are the chances of it being rod knock? Also there is no start up rattle so can't be timing chain right? Sound seems to greatly diminish after the mark of the 1k rpm line. As soon as you let your foot of the gas and it goes back to idle, the diesel sound happens and you can hear it inside the truck.

That's the VCT system. Very doubtful it's a rod. Probably just the phasers failing. This could have been brought on by the previous owners maintenance (or lack there of)

I'm pretty lucky... 188k and no chain slap/dieseling (Knock on every piece of wood I can find)
Only noise I have is manifold leak and basic 5.4 noises

Did you watch the video? If so what does it sound like to you? Phasers? Probably have to copy and paste it into your browser.
