I just purchased a used 2005 F150 with the 4.2 liter V6. When I park the vehicle and turn the key off, I notice that the engine will "stumble" for about a half second before it shuts off. Is this normal? The trunk runs just fine around town on on the highways, no stumble, no loss of power, and engine idles smooth.

Love this new (used) truck, just wondering if this half second stumble of sorts is normal when shutting down.

i had an 02 f150 that started doing that off and on then one day it did it a lil worse than b4 never started up again had to get a new fuel pump and fuel lines id get it checked out or u might find urself stranded good luck
