Default Emblems

I have seen a lot of people with the f150 emblem all chrome. How do you clear the black out of it to make it chrome? I have tried paint thinner so that doesnt work..

On alot of the all chrome ones you have seen the black just falls off. IT was not on purpose.

You could try acetone, just make sure it won't hurt the chrome/plastic

I Used Paint Stripper I Bought New Emblems And Sprayed The Stripper On Them Before I Put Them On

Be careful with the Acetone. It will work though.

i used acetone. real easy to do. just apply the acetone on to a q tip and rub it on the black.Just dont soak the q tip.

most of the people i know who have dont it, have used this method. all have said it works great.
