Did both of mine last weekend. Soaked in paint thinner to remove all the blue, sprayed a few coats of plastidip then took paint thinner and qtips to clean the plastidip off the ford letters. Turned out great for about 10 bucks. Looks a lot better than the old faded look!

I just ordered 2 emblems the other day on ebay. They're a 97% perfect fit and I'm very happy with 'em.. The ebay salesguy goes by the name "downatthebuilding". I believe I paid $12 each plus shipping!

Why buy new when the old ones can be made to look like new for cheaper? And you don't have the pain in the azz job of having to remove them!

Oh it was a pain i peeled off both emblems at least once but only after I messed the F up so it wasn't like I got all the way to the end and goofed it. Mines not perfect it has a few mess ups here and there but only noticeable if you get right up close to it and look at it. Just be patient and take your time man it'll look great either way. Besides its always a greater feeling modding your truck yourself!
