Default Eletric fan kits

has anyone put any type of electic fan kit on their 5.4 truck? ive seen it done on others and it looks and made a change for the better but i havent seen any fords with it done. If you have any recomendations at all please let me know, this will be one of the last engine mods to free up some power before i start forcing some air down it.

Man that seems high... Wow, I think one could just piece a couple of parts together and save some money.

i know the truck cools just fine but its the same idea of putting underdrive pulleys on, free up power on the drive train. the stock fan is about an extra 14 lbs on the pulley set up, remove that, ... i just want to see if any one has done it already and hear what they thought of the results.

I know a lot of people were doing this to their Rangers over on Ranger-forums.com. some said with the electric fan it idled smoother, got better mileage but didnt really feel seat of the pants increase in power. Maybe check with the people who are making them for the Rangers to see if they would offer something for the F150s

They say on most vehicles, that if you do go ahead with an electric fan it will free 5-8 horsepower. But is that really worth 500bucks? Especially if you are going to force air in with something. If you do get a supercharger or something I wouldnt even waste your money on the electric fan. But if you do it, make sure to post your results.

Is that online? Or a local store for you? Because I would really like to see that. I would invest in one also if it gives me an extra 15 horsepower.
