On my 2004 the auto climate control keeps turning off by itself for appox. 2 seconds. The heated seats if turned on will also turnoff for 2 seconds then come back on. If both systems are turned off there is a noise coming from inside the dash behind these controls sounds like a small motor turning or perhaps a mouse trying to get out. Has anyone ever heard of this problem?

I just got my 2008 back from the shop as the climate control was not working - either hot or cold, nothing in-between, and there was a noise in the dash (clicking - like trying to load a cd). According to the service mgr there is a service bulletin about this and it is an accuator for the climate control. I could not find the bulletin but the replaced accuator appears to have fixed the problem.

These auto climate control boxes are troublesome. Just the other day another post rang up on them. If you do a search, you'll see that they are known to fail.

Good luck. Do a search and read up on what others have experienced.
