I have an FX4 2008 with stock everything except the tires BFG rugged terrains 265/70r18s. These tires have been awesome on lava rock crawling, pasture, mud, and towing.
Because BFG has been treating me well I am thinking of continuing the brand and upgrading to K02s 275/70r18s this time..But since I am upgrading my suspension and adding a leaf should I go bigger? The tires have free shipping on amazon and are 239.00 kind of can't beat that deal especially to Hawaii..not even the shops here can beat that price..
I have been reading these forums for a few years now and have been a sleeper but have appreciated all the knowledge gained thus far. It seems like adding a leaf kit is the way to go and not the airbags for what I will be doing, but what are your thoughts?
I hunt twice a week year around, which means driving through pasture land and off roading quite a bit. This truck gets used pretty hard and I am leaning towards going big and getting the Fox 2.0s..? But have read a lot of the forums on the Bilstein 5100s as well as the Rancho 9000s quick lifts...The reason I am leaning towards the 2.0s is they are only 350.00 more than the Ranchos..which I am considering but is still quite a bit of change.. The shipping is whats the kicker on the Ranchos where on Amazon Fox's have free shipping for some reason to Hawaii...stoked..
