I will probably do the same as you have done, only my tips will be blacked out. The passenger's side is slightly higher than the driver's right now, and I adjusted the passenger's side to be off all metal...no more vibration at all!Name: DSC02744.jpg

I agree on the sound (have the same exhaust) AWESOME!! I am waiting for a pair of SLP dual wall three and a half inch tips. On my clearance issue, I put a half inch spacer on the drivers side and welded a one inch extension on the passenger hanger. I also heated and created more room on the spring hangers just for giggles. I should have plenty of room for the tips. The height is within a sixteenth of an inch or so, but the length is a half inch longer on one side, but being I'm lopping off the turndowns, that does not matter. On another note, someone mentoned on a past post that there is no improvement on si/do exhaust, I have to disagree. Saleen would not put a choking exhaust behind a blown 450 horse 5.4. I DO notice a lot more response and a bit of fuel usage improvement (about 1 mpg). Not a lot, but it at least it's in the right direction.

One more thing I have a Screw with the 5.5 box, and did NOT have to extend the pipe going to the muffler.

I've got the 6.5 so that's where the extra pipe comes in. still works great though!

Has anyone mounted this kit on a S/Cab with a 6.5 bed? Read alot of profiles but most are S/Crews.

I have this installed on my 06 f150 scab and I just needed to use a piece of the original pipe that leads to the stock muffler one of the stock couplers and the rest matched up great. still love the exhaust after a few months
