Default Edge went screwy

I left my radio on in the truck last night for a couple hours when i was changing my oil & doing some other stuff. I guess I turned my lights on for a while too when it started getting dark... Anyway, the truck started fine but the tach never went up from zero, the odometer said ----------°F, and my Edge was blank with red background (I have it set to green).

So I shut the ignition off and tried again, this time the odometer said Check Gauges, but the Edge was still blank, and tach was still reading zero (even though the engine was clearly running). So I pulled the Edge cable out from the OBDII, and plugged it back in. Everything went back to normal: odo, edge, tach. Then I went for a 20 min drive to for sure get the batt all charged up.

Maybe some already know this but FYI for anyone with an Edge, don't let your battery get down or it will go berserk!

that's weird.... i was at a truck show and left my radio blaring for too long and the battery completely died...... never had a problem with my edge though. Have you upgraded it yet?

Yup, I just upgraded it last week to the latest firmware & calibrations so it could program my '08. Also my battery was not dead, I think it was just down a little from having the lights on. I had my radio on for hours tailgating last weekend and didn't have any issues.
