Default edge programming issues

Ive tried making some custom programs using a lot of the numbers others have used in both level 2 and level 3 and after putting those in, the performance is terrible. I know all trucks are different, but it doesnt seem like it should be this far off. The plain level 2 works for me just fine, but would like some more pickup off the line. What settings should i be looking at

Make sure your gearing and tire size are entered properly. The level 3 tune needs 91 or higher octane.

On your door jamb is the axle code, like E9 or similar.

H9.. so 3.55.. I put the edge back to stock and tried a couple of different customs and still i did not like it. i then went to the regular level 2 and only changed the ratio and tire size and that seems to be best for me. It seemed like the wot shifts and timing changes were what was throwing me off..IDK
