Okay there are a lot of questions here so give me a moment while I try to touch on all of them.

---------------------------------------------------------

I'll start with tire sizes, you'll need to research the size of your tire and reference it to my conversions so you know what to enter into your programmer.

My Tire size is 33.2"

33.2" - 2650mm
34.4" - 2745mm
34.5" - 2753mm
34.6" - 2761mm
34.7" - 2769mm
34.8" - 2777mm
34.9" - 2785mm
35.0" - 2793mm
35.1" - 2801mm
35.2" - 2809mm

You need to turn down your 1-2 Shift Firmness, because there is a bigger difference in gear ratio between these two gears then any other gears, it is common for it to up and down shift a little harder than the other gears if set at the same firmness. Set it a couple of settings below what it is at now and see if this helps, repeat until desired shift pressure is achieved.

What size should I put in for tire, size n gear? N shifting points?
You need to look up the diameter of your mudgrapplers and reference that to my chart and put in the circumference in mm, that I have pre-converted for you, into your Programmer.

As for gears unless you have had them swapped you don't need to change that in the programmer because it knows what you have stock based on what the PCM had stored in its stock data. So unless you have changed them do not touch this setting.

In my experience with the shifting points however I don't touch these either. I have played with them every which way I know how and it winds up causing lots of up and downshifting while slowing down because you can cause the shift points to overlap and the PCM won't know which is best. I believe the baseline adjustments that the Edge makes are very good and there is no need to change them.

You don't adjust the gear ratio to correct for different tire sizes with this Programmer. You could but it kinda misses the point.

If you have a different tire size give me the tire size or Diameter here in this thread and I will convert it for you in Circumferential mm.

If you have physically changed the gears in your truck and your tire sizes however than simply type in your new gear ratio into your programmer and the new tire circumference. (Note: Because your PCM does not have your new Gear Ratio Stored as OEM you will have to re-enter your new gear ratio everytime you reprogram much like you have to re-enter your new tire size.)

I have found that 11 is even a little too high for 1st gear so I set mine at about 9-10 (Your results may vary based on many factors but should be pretty close to the same).

However, 12 on all the other gears should be perfectly fine.

Shift Firmness affects WOT and Regular Driving both.

Okay now onto the OP's Question:

Here is what I put for Daily Driving for a little performance but looking for better overall MPG. I get 16 city with my current setup using this tune.

Level: 2 Towing
87 Octane Fuel

WOT Shift Points:
1-2: 5200 RPM
2-3: 5200 RPM
3-4: 5000 RPM

Conv. Lock Points:
1st Gear Lock: No Change
2nd Gear Lock: No Change
3rd Gear Lock: -5
4th Gear Lock: -10

1st Gear Unlock: No Change
2nd Gear Unlock: No Change
3rd Gear Unlock: No Change
4th Gear Unlock: No Change

Shift Firmness:
1-2: 10
2-3: 12
3-4: 12

Rev Limiter:
5350 RPM
(Note: Needs to be at least 150 RPM above your maximum WOT Shift Point or you may experience erratic shifting).

Speed Limiter:
93mph
(Purely preference, my tires are only good to 99 so this is what I have my speed limiter set at, this will not effect performance or economy).

Gear Ratio:
I have stock Gears so no change here.

Tire Size:
2650mm
(My tires are 33.2" tall)

Timing:
+0.5°
(This is fine for 87 octane fuel as long as its good fuel not some cheap, never heard of brand. I'm talkin Shell, Exxon, Chevron, and Valero are all good).

WOT Fuel:
1.35

---------------------------------------------------------

Since Performance will probably be the next question here is my performance tune. All my mods you can see in my sig.

Level: 3 Performance
93 Octane Fuel ONLY

WOT Shift Points:
1-2: 5350 RPM
2-3: 52350 RPM
3-4: 5000 RPM

Conv. Lock Points:
1st Gear Lock: No Change
2nd Gear Lock: No Change
3rd Gear Lock: -5
4th Gear Lock: -10

1st Gear Unlock: No Change
2nd Gear Unlock: No Change
3rd Gear Unlock: No Change
4th Gear Unlock: No Change

Shift Firmness:
1-2: 10
2-3: 15
3-4: 15

Rev Limiter:
5500 RPM
(Note: Needs to be at least 150 RPM above your maximum WOT Shift Point or you may experience erratic shifting).

Speed Limiter:
93mph
(Purely preference, my tires are only good to 99 so this is what I have my speed limiter set at, this will not effect performance or economy).

Gear Ratio:
I have stock Gears so no change here.

Tire Size:
2650mm
(My tires are 33.2" tall)

Timing:
+2.0°

WOT Fuel:
1.65

Mine does this also, I tried lowered the shift pressure and it helped at first but as I drove the truck more it went back to how it was

What do you have it set at? No truck will be the same so you may have to lower it more than others. There are over 300 PCM set ups from Ford for these trucks so yours may have had a firmer first gear shift to begin with.

If you don't change the timing or it is the same on level 2 and 3 is there really a difference between the two

B-A, I have the Gryphon (upgraded Edge) and the "stock gear ratio" is only a place holder value...NOT the actual ratio of my truck. I did have to set my actual gear ratio with the Gryphon. Tire size was the same way.

I put mine on extreme and only thing I customized was tire size to 2780 and I am averaging 15-16 mpg with 35 mudgrapplers. Will a RAM cold air intake help a lot?

Yes there is a big difference because I put 93 in my tank when I tow and bump up the timing to the same thing I would put on level 3 and there is a big difference in power with level 3. Level 2 has a lot more grunt though.
