I have an edge evolution cs and I am using the "canned tunes" or the default tunes that come on the programmer. Under WOT, the truck hits the rev limiter for a few seconds before it shifts in all 3 power levels. Does anyone know what's going on? The only thing I have set in my programmer is the gear ratio, tire size, and K&N CAI, I messed with nothing else. Any help is appreciated. Truck is an 08 5.4L and does not do this when I return the truck to stock.

The programmer adjusts your shift points in transmision

I don't think I can adjust shift points on mine.

The programmer automatically adjust shift points. I have the edge evo and setting 1 is just shift point setting 2 is for towing but aslo adjusts shift points and 3 is performance and also adjusts shift points automatically check the owners manual

Right, but I can't control that. It shouldn't be hitting the rev limiter before shifting under WOT and it does it in all 3 power levels

Ya you can't adjust shift points it has that preprogrammed

Right. My problem is, my truck bounces off the rev limiter for a few seconds before shifting under wide open throttle.

I've done that too and it still does it even over 6000 rpm
