Edge Evolution vs. Edge Insight CS
The title was supposed to read "Edge Evolution vs. Edge Evolution CS
Im looking to buy a programmer for my 07' FX4 and i was planning on the Evolution but then i stumbled on the Evolution CS. The CS definately looks alot better to me but not sure if it will still fit in the same little custom dash pod thing.
Does anybody have any info on either of these? Is one any better than the other (performace wise)?
Thanks for you help.

To be honest, just buy a gryphon from power hungry performance. I bought an evo first off and then realized I wanted the custom tune. ended up costing me more in the end.

The CS stands for Color Screen. Its a newer model and it has newer software to update it and it has some extra displays for RPM, MPH, etc. I don't have one, but people that have them say the color screen and the display looks pretty bad ***. It does fit the standard dash pod. If you get the CTS (Color Touch Screen), its a little bigger and you have to use an adapter for the dash pod. The adapter is about the size of the evo and the CS and then you mount the CTS on top of the adapter, so it isn't flush with the pod like the others.
Boilerup15 mentions the gryphon, which is the same hardware as the edge, its just rebranded by power hungry performance. If you have the edge evolution, they can still give you custom tunes, but you have to send it to them to convert it. If you have the Edge CS or CTS, they can create custom tunes for it using the standard software and no need to send it to them for conversion.
I don't own one yet, but I have been doing my research. I am pretty sure I am going to go with the Gryphon CS or CTS and buy it from php. The gryphon still comes with the same canned tunes as the edge. They are also the same price as the edge, but I have heard nothing but good things about the guys over there. The name mentioned the most is Bill. He is supposed to be really helpful and can work with you on getting the best custom tunes for your specific vehicle.

i just got the edge evolution CS and it looks great i have not had much time to play with it but i like the power it does not come with that nice pod that is fit to the dash it only sticks to the windsheild but i want to find a pod to finish it off and make it look better
