Default Edge Evo solved my misfire problems!!!!

For some odd reason...I've been having misfires when in cruise control between 50-55 MPH, I figured it was just bad plugs and coil packs, but I reset my edge and low and behold, my skipping was gone....and I got almost 3 MPG better on my way home. That being said....Edge Evo tuners are customizable right? I've always kept mine on mode 3 running 91, but today was the first time it asked me if i wanted to make a custom tune...is this normal? I've been planning on doing the upgrade to a gryphon but haven't gotten around to it yet. Need some answers...kinda confused as to whats going on!

Yes, you can custom tune. This is my custom tune:

I'm running 91 octane...should the settings work out the same? I've always been kinda hesitant in doing a custom tune so I've always ran the performance tune that came with the edge evo.

Convert the Edge to a Gryphon and you will not be disappointed. It's free and easy. Seriously, IMO it is hands down 300 percent better than the edge canned tunes.

I'm glad the Edge solved your misfire issue

Thanks! Actually In the process of updating it right now. I've always run 91 octane so would I be better off running the 93 performance tune after I've updated my edge to a gryphon?

Whoe Whoe Whoe, I'm having the same exact missing issue. How did you reset your Evo? Like you I only run my Evo on the canned 3 setting but I only use 93.

He meant "update" the Edge. Do that first (instructions on Edges site), then convert it to a Gryphon. You will love it. I am getting ready to order a 89 performance tune from PHP, especially since they are $40 now. Just a few months ago, they were $60 for a little while.

I'm pretty sure I have the most recent update on my Evo. I updated it about 5 years ago. I plan on converting to the Gryphon but I really want to fix my occasionally missing issue first. Then I want to test my 0-60 and quarter mile times as well as my mpg's so I can compare them to the Gryphon conversion.
