You could just buy the one tune and see if it's better. If you have the Evo have them swap out canned tune 1 for the custom 93 performance.

Okay I have a question for those of you who do know what they are doing. Currently I have mine on stock because I was having issues with the TQ locker engaging and causing harsh shifting. To be honest that scared me a little and now I'm nervous to change anything...so here is my set up so that maybe you guys can give me a suggested setup

5.4 Flex
Drop in K&N
Flowmaster catback
285/70R17 BFG TA KO
3.55 gears

What would you all suggest. Thank you!

I say just do whatever tune you see posted up in here that you like and leave the Torque Converter lock and unlock points stock. Have you tried that to see if it resolves your issue?

I have a 93 Perf tune from PHP except I have a CAI instead of gotts and 305/40R23.

I've tried 3 tunes on my truck. The only settings I changed for each were the timing and level. If you want to know exactly what I used for each tune I can show that. Btw I have a 2004 4.6L with 3.73.

Lvl 2 w/ 87 oct. And no timing. City mpg= 16.2
Lvl 3 w/ 93 oct. And +1 timing. City mpg~ 18 and hwy mpg= 19.83
Lvl 2 w/ 93 oct. And +3 timing. City mpg= 19.2
I will use the lvl 3 for hwy most likely. I don't like lvl 2 on the highway because when I let off the gas it unlocks the torque converter. I guess this helps to slow a trailer assuming you're towing.

Default A little help, please.

Okay, so I have been trying to get a tune on here to work well with my truck, and so far here is what is happening and I don't know what to change to fix these issues.

The tune I put in:

Tow Setting
Shift Firmness: 12 for all Gears
Standard Shift Points: Same
No Change in TC lock
WOT Shift: 1-2:5300 2-3:5300 3-4:5000
Rev Limit: 5450
Tire size: 2698
Gear Ratio: 3.55 (That's what my axle is)

Now my problems.
When under WOT from stop, it goes all the way to the point it needs to shift to 2nd then like bucks and studders and shifts REALLY hard, almost like it stalled or something. Than when cruising, easing off or on the gas it shudders like it's missing, I just had all the spark plugs changed, but here is the odd thing, it doesn't do ANY of this if I have it set to stock. Any ideas? I'm starting to not like my Evo it scares me....

rev limiter needs to be 100 higher. What's your WOT fuel and timing? Mine was doing the same thing cause my fuel was too high with not enough timing
