Two questions; what can I do with my edge evo to counter the lean effect with a cai, and if I have 285/75/17 tires what size do I tell my edge to have my speedo correct?

You need a custom tune.

There aren't any settings on the tuner that will resolve the lean issue. In fact if your truck falls into the lean category the edge itself will exacerbate the problem as will the CAI.

This is only a problem with the 04-05 5.4s and maybe some 06's but mine doesn't have it.

Power Hungry Performance is the only tuner who can custom tune your edge to resolve this issue.

Is it worth upgrading to the gryphon if I don't have any engine mods, except a flow master?

I mean you'll notice a difference, or you should, but it's not gonna be huge. So you just have to decide for yourself if the cost justifies the gains if you had more mods like CAI, Long Tube Headers, E-Fans, Under drive pulleys, Cat Delete then I'd say go for it! But not if all you have is a flow master muffler.

How do you know you have a lean issue? Did you throw a DTC?
