My speedo was off by quite a bit. Though time consuming, I kept changing the setting until I got within .5mph of what the GPS said. My speedo reads approx. .5mph faster than the GPS. Figured that was pretty close and would rather show a hair faster than actual; keep the popo honest. Here are the settings and relative speedo to GPS readings:

2675 speedo read +3 to 4 higher than GPS
2550 +2
2400 -1
2475 +.5

These may not correspond directly with your tires etc., but might give you an idea of the differences the settings can make to mph.
I have LT275/70/18 and mine is 2645mm just for reference.

Someone brought this up a little while back, but it never got fully explained, can someone please explain what adjusting the torque converter lock and unlock does. Both positively and negatively, which is better for a daily driver and whats better for towing. Thanks guys i know alot of people want to learn about this.

It changes the mph that the torque converter will lock and unlock. I have my lock point turned down -6 for 4th gear because I drive down a long county road to my house, heavily patrolled by cops with a speed limit of 40 and I can set my cruise control at 40 and the TC will lock netting me better MPGs. I can get 25-27 IMPG rolling along at 40 mph and only doing 1000rpm.

So basically negative is for better mpg and positive..... Not really sure why you would want it positive. Some guys were saying they were tired of it unlocking on them while going up a hill so they made it stay unlocked most the time but if you have it unlocked you will get worse MPGs and higher tranny temps. So maybe someone can explain the advantage to a positive value but I don't see it.

I think setting it positive, is for when you have a heavy load, you do not want it kicking in until you are upto highway speeds. I think this actually is easier on the transmission and OD and engine. I did notice in the stock level 2 it would lock at around 50 mph on my truck.

On another note, I am running 91oct fuel.
I adjusted my WOT points to:
1-2 5100
2-3 5100
3-4 4900
Tach limit- 5500 (might me goin back to 4950 and 4800 with a limit of 5400)

WOT Fuel is 1.6
Timing is 2.0

So far driving around town and staying out of the gas with some 275/70-18 I am getting about 14mpg according to truck and edge.
Still need to see what 70mph is. 60 is around 19-21mpg and 50 is 21-23mpg

Last night I found a dead stretch of road and did 0-60 test. Surprised me as the tires actually lost traction and scratched for about 6 feet. I had problems doing this with the stock tires on lvl 3 before. Any way 7.31 was the time. I guess this is actually pretty good.

In the next few months I am going to play with it some more, see what I come up with, and let you guys know.

Check my profile for my truck setup.

Doesnt Race Fuel have lead in it?

When I raced quads/4-wheel mx, I would run 110 octane in her, it's unleaded. Great throttle response and smells great at exhaust too. It was purple in color, it was a Sunoco fuel.

I was messing with my new edge evolution programmer. Had it on tranny mode. Changed the mph shift on it and firmness. Went to pull in a parking lot and it cut off on me. Gave mea hard time getting it back on. The second crank worked fine. Put it back to stock.
Any ideals what happened?

It sounds like that could be the fuel sending unit people have been having trouble with. Cuz I've never heard of someone's truck cutting off after installing any tuner. How many miles on your truck?

My truck does have around 160k. I think my truck idles low. I ran it on performance last night and it cut off once. Hasnt done it since. Felt like when you have a vehicle and the rpms go so low it cuts off. Didnt do it till I slowed down and almost stopped or did stop all the way. Thinking I will have to tinker more and read up a little more.
