Default Hub Assembly Replacement

I have a hum noise coming from my front end. It is still present in 4x4h. It hums most around 35 mph and does not do it when I turn right. I am 99% sure it is a wheel hub/bearing. Has anybody had any luck with parts from autozone, oreillys, napa, or advance? I need to get back on the road hopefully without shipping time from online ordering. Any tips for this job? Thanks!

I just got the old hub off. It is BAD in there. Tons of water and rust. What should I do to clean everything up before I put the new one in? Thanks

Did mine a year ago, fixed the hum, yes clean and replace any grease you removed. If the water and rust is in the CV, (behind the hub, where the axle shaft comes through) you will need to remove and clean. The hubs are a complete unit, no need to worry about the stuff in there... order the new ones and you will see what you need to clean and what you don't.

That video will tell you the procedure for cleaning/lubing/torqueing the wheel bearing assembly when you put it back on.
