Default Edge Evo Programmer Custom Settings

I just got a used evo for my 2007 4.6. I put in the custom program for the larger size tires that I have on the truck. when it reprograms does it also correct the speed showing on the speedometer as well? I calculated the tire size difference from stock and knew my speedo was off by about 8.8% or 5mph at 60. when I put in the custom program the speedo and the evo speeds are still the same.

I did a quick search and didn't find a definite answer,
