Default Edge evo caused "check gauges" and no start

Got a used edge evo in the mail today. Went to install it. Thought i had everything how i wanted it. The trucks display started saying "check gauges" and the truck wont even attempt to start.

I have returned to stock settings on the evo, unplugged it, unhooked the battery and so on and my truck just sits dead. Any help would be great.

Sounds like you need to call Edge and have them work their magic.

Did you update the software before installing it? What year and engine do you have and what model number is the Edge? Something is wrong, I doubt its the actual unit itself.....

I agree... especially if you could re-flash the ECM back to stock... The edge is obviously talking to the ECM and able to program it. I know a low/weak battery can cause the check gauges but you'd get the obvious signs (starter click, etc).

How did you get your truck to start back up?

They sent me a new unit that I could connect to the computer via USB. I downloaded their software and plugged it back into the truck. All good now. They have great customer support
