Default Edge evo

I'm getting an Edge Evolution programmer and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for settings. I already know I'm going to run it on tow mode, just need suggestions on settings! Thank you

Just leave it it the tow mode. Make sure to set the final drive/gear ratio for what your truck has, and set the tire/wheel size.

Unless money is no object...then put it in the 93 octane performance mode. Same mpg, just more $$ for the miles driven.

I have run this for a little over 4 months now on my 5.4:

I stay pretty close to these settings
Level 2 custom settings
Gear Ratio = whats in the truck, confirm it with your axle code
Tire Size = enter correct diameter
Idle Speed = I never adjust this
WOT Shifting = 1-2 and 2-3 @ 5000 and 3-4 @ 4600 rpm
Std. Shifting = leave alone
Shift Firmness = all 3 set at +8
Rev Limiter = 5500 rpm
Speed Limiter = what ever you are comfortable with, I do 120 mph
Timing Adjustment = +.25 or +.50 (if you do +.50, make sure your engine doesn't ping)
WOT Fuel = no need to go over +1.50

Just installed my Edge Evo minutes ago.... All I changed were my tires size and have been in the first (Custom/Trans Only) Mode.

So people are using Tow Mode for day to day driving? (I have a 5.4 07 Lariat 2WD)

Another question... will the screen dim at night?

If I have the factory gears I don't need to change anything correct?

Those settings will work on a 4.6, not sure why they wouldnt. As far as dimming it, use the down and up arrows, that is how it dims and brightens.

you have to select your correct gear ratio.. and If I were you I would use level 2 ... level 1 is transmission only.. you will be missing out on daily driving advantages.. and it will not dim by itself but like stated above use the up/down to dim

If your door jamb sticker has H9 for the axle code, then you have 3.55 gears.
