HMMMMMMMMMMMMM wonder who we sshould listen to on K&N?? NGM or Dunes? I vote NGM since ive run K&N on all my vehicles for the past 10 years without one single problem. As for taking the snorkel off the end of the intake, i really wouldnt do that without replacing it with something. I replaced it with a 3" pvc tube. Opened the entire intake length up allowing the engine to breath better..........
