Default ECM problem

I have a 2005 F150 6 cylinder 120000 miles. I was driving and truck started running real rough and now I can't even get it to start, just turns over. I put my odii2 tester and nothing. Screen doesn't even turn on. Please help with any information please. Thanks
Brett

Have you checked/replaced your FPDM?

FPDM could be it, but that's really a shot in the dark at a problem that could be solved if you check the code.

Do you have power to the port to attach your OBD tester to? It doesn't sound like you do so I would start there and make sure you have power. Check fuse 41 and 42 and replace with 20 amp.

Thanks guys. I got my reader to work. Now how do I tell if my FPDM is bad or its my fuel pump?

Sometimes the FPDM will take out the fuse along with it. If not, you should drop the spare tire and have a look at the FPDM, you'll know pretty quick if it's toast. Even moving it might actually let you start it once. I would start with dropping the spare and looking at it though.
