Default EBC brakes and sport rotors installed

Purchased EBC slotted and dimpled sport rotors with 7000 front pads and 6000 rear pads (both greenstuff).

First impressions are great.

1) noticeably smoooooooooth feel to braking. As smooth as my 2010 mazdaspeed3. Very nice feel to the set up.

2) very small bed in time. Less than 200 miles until I felt a great bite (still very smooth).

3) bite is better than anything I've felt on a truck this size and I'm running 35s. Very happy with stopping power. No shuttering or loss of control on heavy braking tests (60mph hard braking)

I went with this setup after much research and hopefully the cost will pay itself back with longevity. I haven't towed my boat or went offroad yet but I have high expectations. Don't know how much the sport rotors are contributing to the feel, but the pads seem to be top notch.

Wow! I really looked hard to find EBC brake pads for our trucks. I have EBC RedStuff on all four corners of my Ram 1500. I'm running Hawk Ceramics (Yellow) with AP Racing cross drilled/slotted rotors.

You simply can't go wrong with EBC products. They're a tremendous upgrade over stock for my other truck. Congratulations on your brake job and drive safely!

I found that Amazon has the best price but I got a bit confused because on there it doesn't say single or pair. Haven't ordered yet though.

I have these as well with Yellow stuff pads. I'm 2wd drive so I got them with the centric bearings. Great setup. Does really well when I race. Little to no dusting.
