eBay Fender Flares
Anyone have the stock looking fender flares off of eBay? The ones on there for like $125-135 shipped. How is the install and is there any issues with scratching from flares or rust issues from them? How are they installed and do they fit good? Are they good quality?

From what I have read they are just like the real deal. I was watching a set until some 09-14 sets went up on ebay for $70 shipped. I measured and measured my father-in-laws 2011 and they appear to be exactly the same size as what a 04-08 would be. When I get them in, I will test fit. It will be until at least the 23rd though.

I have a set on my truck. They fit ok, just need to mess with them for them to fit good. The backs weren't too bad but the fronts were a little harder. The fronts are also a little short where they meet the front bumper. If there going to be ptm the same color as the truck it's not too noticeable but if your going to keep them black or you have the two tone you will notice them being shorter. But once there mounted they are fine and I really like mine. As for mounting them they have double sided tape for where they meet the body of the truck and they come with self yapping screws fit under the wheel wells. If you search my threads you can see some pics of them in my build thread and I can get you some pics tomorrow of what I mean by them being short.

Ok thank you for the info. I am going to leave them black on my white truck so I hope they will look ok. Is the double sided tape like a seal to keep moisture from getting behind them? Do the screws go into pre drilled holes in truck?

Yea I guess that's what the double sided tape does. I pre drilled the holes even though they come with self tapping screws.
