I have a 2005 F-150 XLT with the 4.6L.
I am looking to put a rear locker in the rear to gain more traction. I have been searching and have found a couple options but brands like auburn. Ive done most of my searching on Rock auto.com and i was wondering if anyone else out there has put this in, and if so what spline? where did you get it from?

Avoid an electronic locker unless you're going to be seriously offroading. Any tranny shop will tell you the same thing they're expensive and a waste of money on road use only

Do you have an 8.8 or 9.75?

not really sure.... i thought the fx4 was the 9.75 so i would assume i have the 8.8

I wanted the same thing. I messaged them and they said they didn't have a locker for our trucks.

They don't have a locker for our trucks. There's another brand that does electric lockers and they have them for our trucks. If you want selectable still you can go for an ARB tho.

I assume that with a 4.6L your truck would have a 8.8. But not sure, I know that they did offer it for your 8.8 31 spline axle.
