Look up madenterprise. Very high quality controller that has a great design. Plus Mad Mike is a great guy who treats his customers like friends.

only one bolt matched...the one on the passenger side. the driver side one was off by about an inch and a half...so i made a metal bracket to make up the difference. on the bottom, i just made a couple brackets to mount.

Where did you get the fans? Are they dual?

Im running a windstar dual fan with a flexalite variable speed fan controller. The controller is a probe type and so far has kept the engine at the correct temp. All told the conversion cost 120 for the junkyard fan and the controller.

It's a shame that the guy at DCControllers has fallen behind. He made the best one on the market by far. He had a bad back, and was out for some time with surgerys I think. He should have shut down his site, but I guess he thought he could continue to make them and get the orders out. I was lucky enough I guess to get one, and it is the best for any efan on the market.

When looking into buying a controller, what are some features I should look for? In gonna be running a dual 16" fan setup. Ive decided to go with the probe for the fins rather than in the line itself. Just easier. I'd rather ask a lot of questions on the topic to cover most of the install, that way if someone wants to do the same install, all the info is here

Depends what you want. You can get AC override. Mine will come on only when the condenser needs it, shuts off at highway speeds, controls dual fans, and is adjustable over a wide range.

You can buy the troyer controller for $50, dual fans with a staggered startup and AC overide with the shutoff at whatever speed you choose.
That's my plan of attack, I'm getting that and 2 16" efans from skipwhite on eBay, high cfm dual ball bearing low amp draw and lifetime warranty.

What is the ac override about? I just want them to opertate when they should and how they should. No fancy custom stuff.
