Default Dynomax 17748 for quiet performance muffler?

I know many of you swear by the magnaflows, but is anyone running the Dynomax Super Turbo 17748? I am catless and running the Delta 40 SIDO and it is WAY TO LOUD!!! It almost sound like open headers.

Since I'm using it to take my family out and about, I want a quieter ride.
Anyone have any experience or suggestions on this.

I was also looking at the Dynomax Thrush Turbos.

What to do...what to do...

How are you running without cats?

Why are you running without cats if you don't want it too loud?

I had to cut out the cats as they were blocked. I may replace them later when I can, but for now, they are catless.

Did you have 4? Did you just cut out the back two?

Are you running a bypass to not throw codes?

Putting in cats would make it a lot quiter

I eventually want to get back to cats, but I don't have $200 for universals much less $600 for the application setup.

I had them all cut out. Weirdest thing is I have not thrown a code yet. No bypass or anything. I have already assembled the spark plug non fouler setup, but still have no need for it

I'm about to replace my Spintech Pro Street 9000 which is getting a bit too loud for me. I've been doing research and talked to a rep from Dynomax. He said the Super Turbo was quiet. You may also try a big muffler from Spintech, such as 8000 RV/Truck or 5000. Their absolute quietest muffler is the new Sportsman 3000 XL PLUS. Reducing the diameter of the pipes will help with the noise too.

The longer the muffler.. the quieter it will likely be.

Try www.YouTube.com for your muffler part numbers sound clip.
