Default dyno day

I got my truck on the dyno just to see the numbers. My truck is a 2008 5.4 with 116k miles. producing 214hp and 264 lbs of torque at the wheels. Im truck is stock, no tuner just dual exhaust. Are those numbers about right? I was expecting more. Plus my rev limter is at 5500rpms.

Yeah. That measures your hp to wheels, factoring in drivetrain loss it sounds about right

Typical stock numbers range anywhere from 208-225rwhp. Wheel/tire weight increases will drag the numbers down thanks to the increase in rotating mass thus adding to drivetrain losses. What size wheels and tires are you running? They look pretty big in your avitar pic.

I saw a 100 HP and 110 TQ loss in my drive train from factory numbers after I put my SC on it and had it dyno'd....was very disappointed...those numbers sound right on unfortunately.

Rhicks, how the heck are ya? Didn't know you sold the truck. Haven't seen any post from you in a while. Guess you've been in the Ecoboost section.

I'm good..moved over to the dark side....loving the eco boost...I do miss the pleasant roar of a SC though....boy do I miss it...
