Mine come out behind the rear tires, added tips but overall it sounds great. Only cost me $250 to have it all done including parts

I have a 2010 4.6L with the resonator that comes with the 2011- present f150s, sounds good its dumped right after the resonator, pretty loud but I enjoy it!

I think it would be a decent solution if you don't want to bring it to the back. It sends the sound away from you a little instead of having the sound sent directly beneath you.

I love hearing a nice sounding motor. But for a daily driver and child carrier I wouldn't dump the exhaust underneath.

Now if I had a highly modified, high compression, big cam motor that wasn't a daily driver, then yes I would think about dumping the exhaust so I could hear the crisp crackle of each cylinder as it is loping at the red light.

Bring the exhaust to just ahead of the rear tire. Put on some black tips and go, if you don't like the rear exit. I like black tips. Plus they won't stand out very much.

Damn! Are you serious? 165,000 miles is really far on a gas engine. But not really many issues?

Yep. Does not use any oil between changes either. Just regular maintainance done.

40 series flowmaster dumped right before rear axle with Turn down. Only loud in cab if you really get on it. Usually is tucked higher but one of the welds broke haha

I have mine straight piped after the exhaust goes back into 1 from the dual cats and exits out in front of the tire and I love it. Its 3in pipe and I have the 5.4 and its not super loud in the cab
