Default Dumb box

I have a 07 screw shortbox that has a wobbly bed on it. Whenever I hit a bump it shakes like crazy, mostly from the drivers side. It kind of bounces like it is on a rubber spacer - if that makes any sense to you. I asked one dealership about it and was told to just "put some stuff in it". Today I checked with another one and was told "they all do that". So my question to them was "why"? What do you think the answer was - "They just do".
So does anyone else have this problem and what causes it? What is the fix? It bounces so much that I feel like I am going to be replacing tailight bulbs from the shaking that they are taking back there.

do a search here for "bed bounce" and you will find all the info you care to read. This topic has come up countless times.

Not finding anything when searching. Just read through some useless posts about a guy pissing and moaning about fords being made of tin, and threads about guys with warped rotors and driveline issues.
