Default Dual Exhaust

I have recently purchased a 2005 Ford F150 XLT, 4X4, 5.4L, V-8 Triton. And I wanted to put on a new dual exhaust kit but I can't decide what I should get. I want something that has that deep rumbling sound, but i don't want it to be over the top loud. If anyone has any suggestions the help would be greatly appriciated.

I like my flowers master. I think it's a supper 40 or supper 44 not sure because it came with the truck. It's loud when you get on it but pretty quiet when cruising. The only drone is above 2k rpms which is about 70-75 for me. But it really isn't bad.

Ok so I have been looking online and the cherry bomb extreme sounds like a pretty good exhaust, for the price. I was wondering if any one has this setup? And if they have had any issues with it.

My experience with Cherry Bomb is they sound great for about 500 miles until the packing burns out then they provide a new definition of LOUD.

Or, our experienced members can simply move on without the need to respond.

We have to remember that the 04 to 08 F150's are quickly becoming a popular used truck, and lots of new members are buying them and joining sites like F150forum to learn about them. Lets welcome them and help them out. If popular questions bug you, just move on. Simple.

Or people can not get so butthurt when someone else makes a joke. Where were you when I was a noob and people were giving me **** about my user name and calling me nursegriffin???!!??? Not even truck related.

And.... How is me telling the OP to use the search function to find already really valuable information that has been talked about to death any different from you or anyone else telling someone to call tech support for a certain product when they are trying to find out information from people that have already used the product???

The search function in a forum is like tech support... You go to previously posted knowledge from people that have used a certain product.

This is a good suggestion! Youtube can be your best friend when considering options for exhaust. Watch as many as you can, and you'll slowly learn what you like and what you don't.

We offer a few different options for the 5.4l. Our catbacks are made to give you a big improvement in sound, while maintaining a manageable volume for everyday driving which sounds like what you may be looking for. Feel free to shoot us a PM if you'd like more info on any of our systems!
