Default Dual Exhaust

Hello I'm new to this. I have a 2005 F150 and for Christmas I want to make my truck loud. I don't know much about exhaust, but I know that I want dual exhaust. I'm not looking for a noise that sounds supercharged, I'm looking for a Loud deep rumbling sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks. Is there an advantage to having weld on tips vs clamp on? Also is there an advantage to wrinkle bend vs mandrel bend?

Mandrel bends are better as are weld on tips.

true dual straight pipes, no muffler, keep the cats on. gives it alot of low end rumble, loud, and best of all its inexpensive

If you do this, do it right! Go 2.25" True dual exhaust, have an X-Pipe put in behind the cats, and run all mandrel bent piping the whole way welded, not clamped..

As for mufflers, either go straight pipe (cheap) or get two 'flow-through' mufflers, the shorter the louder, look for magnaflow, borla, or even two glass pack mufflers (cheap and loud)

You won't be disappointed with true duals

1) Grab a beverage of choice.
2) select the "search" tab
3) Type in "exhaust"
4) read/sort through the hundreds of posts you'll find on this subject
5) Make your choice based on the hundreds of opinions.
6) repeat steps 2 through 6 for "tunners" and "CAI" (cold air intakes), oil, and oil filters
