Default Dual batteries

I plan on getting 2 light pods on my brush guard and a maybe "30 led bar to go in my lower grille but I'm just scared of draining my battery cause I already had an alternator go on me this year and I've never had lots of LED accessories on my truck. So how much stuff would I need to have to have to run a dual battery setup?

2 batteries, and isolator, cables, battery box (depending on where you mount the secondary battery), and my favorite, a hi output alternator.
DCpowerinc.com Been using there products for years.

I wouldn't worry about another battery. I run a air compressor train horn, 32 light bar, interior LEDs and exterior leds, floor lights, CB, wheel lights and my battery will be fine with all of them on all night but the only thing that will kill it is the light bar and it takes an hour or more to kill it. Mind you the truck is off if my trucks on its all fine

so your alternator keeps the battery maintained just fine? Also, how full are your battery terminals now? 😂

I have a sub set up, pushing 1000 watt rms. 20 inch rigid bar, hid projectors, halo rings, hid fog light, all on my voltage dips to 12.8-13 volts. That's on a cheap $100 Duracell flooded battery and a stock output alternator. I have no issues. You will be fine.

I was looking at the optimas but from what I keep reading, the quality has gone down a bit. My next battery will be a Duracell agm. They are affordable. I have a agm battery in my jeep that I got for free. It tested and put out 1100 cca. I was shocked.

Honest to god, you will be fine with a single battery and a working alternator (since you've replaced yours, that should be a given).
