Mine are in a low profile toolbox mounted in my bed. My amp is mounted behind my rear seat and so far does not overheat at all. I got my box and subs from eBay, Kicker Comp 10 shallow mounts and a box with an amp rack built in...sounds awesome for the price, won't win a sound battle but can buzz my eardrums...
