Default Driver window problems

My driver side front window has been acting up. When I press the button for it to go up itll either take it like 10 seconds to start or itll go up abit and stop, wait, then go up.

Have you tried searching? Lots of info for you on this.

All the window switches go through the driver side switch. Likely, you contacts are dirty in the switch. You can clean them, but IMO, it only helps it for so long. I tried the cleaning method and it only worked for a month. Then I bought a new switch off Ebay and have been good ever since.

I cleaned my driver switch contacts 3 months ago, applied some di-electric grease to the contacts and its been perfect every since.

Check the rubber boot in the crease of the door, a wire might be pinched. It happened to my passenger windrow but was on the driver side wiring in the rubber boot, a wire had been pinched in half.
