Default Driver seat won't move

2005 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4x4. Driver seat does not go fwd or backward up or down. All the fuses look good. I just replaced the switch, Nothing. Check the power mirrors and power pedals and nothing on them either. I'm at at loss. All the fuses look fine. Has anyone else have this problem?

On another not I just put a set of 285/60R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on and I think they look awesome, fit well (no Scrubbing) and minimal road noise. Now to see if they hold up.

Any Help will be appreciated

if all fuses are good, can you check with a multimeter at the connector under the seat, if you are getting power? if so, maybe there is a problem with the motor on it, but as you say that power mirrors doesnt work either, i would think that the problem is a fuse... or a connector unplugged. all this three things must have their own motors.

seems that the fuse #3, 108, 109, 401 are the ones that you need to check (ignore the marks in red in the graphic below).
did you tested the fuse using a fuse tester or you inspected them just visually?

The fuses are coded as follows.

3 5A* Power mirrors, Memory seats and
pedals

108 30A** Passenger power seat

109 30A** Driver power seat, Adjustable pedals

401 30A Circuit breaker Power windows, Moonroof, Power sliding backlite

According page 229 in the owners manual.

Ahh easy fix, they all do it. Mine did,

Excellent posts to identify the fault!!!

Tossing parts at it can get costly. If it ends up being this wire, I'd imagine dhodges45 is going to be upset that he bought a switch for it. Lucky they are not expensive and is not out a bunch of money.

Thanks for the help. I found the wire for the mirrors and re-spliced it. It was completely broken in two. On the seat though I am still at a stand still. I replaced the switch a while back and it still didn't work right. I'm sure you know there is a restocking fee for the dealers so it didn't bother taking it back. It did work intermittently but now it does nothing but make a clicking noise in a module under the seat. I'm not sure if changing that would fix it or not and I'm not sure how to test it. Also its a MFer to get too... Any advice on that would be appreciated.

Thanks

So there is no movement for any of the switch positions, correct? The manual assumes you either have a bad switch, a bad ground, or a bad power to the switch.

Check that voltage at pin 7 is >10V and resistance to ground at pin 1 is less than 5 ohms.

I have a similar issue:

Power seat moved up and down but does not move forward or back.

Power mirrors work.
Adjustable pedals work.

I can't find where the orange with lite green wire is spliced....

Default power seat issues

Thanks to hardchines who posted an answer if look below the fuse box (disassembling the plastic panels in the front) you will see a bundle of wires find the orange wire with a light green stripe. follow it most probably it will fall apart where it joins into 2 wires run a jumper. I and some other did this with GREAT success.

Thanks guys for the fix

Default corroded wiring affecting drivers seat.

This worked perfect. I don't think it took more than an hour to find the corroded splice (which was exactly where you said it would be) and trim and re-attach a new section of wire!
The seat adjust, mirror and foot pedal adjust are all back to normal!
Thank you for your insight!

Two crimp connectors---$.58
6 inch piece of wire------Free
the amount of frustration i saved by having a resource like this? PRICELESS!
