Driver and passenger seat bottoms switch able

The passenger side has the passenger airbag weight sensor. My drivers side cushion is shot on the and considered swapping just the foam. The foam cushions are also different. The foam section closest to the door that tears up is wider than the section closest to the center console. So the passenger side foam is a mirror image (opposite) of the drivers side foam. Tasca parts show the seat cushions for each side is a different part #.

I've swapped the passenger side to drivers side on two different F-150's with no ill effects. Yes, the weight pad (for passenger side) will need to be removed and placed on the bottom cushion used on the passenger side, but its an easy swap. The drivers side always wears on the left bolster first, due to the driver sliding in and out of the truck.
I'd suggest removing the drivers seat bottom cushion, taking it to an apolstery shop, and have them "rebuild" the foam.
