Thanks for being so considerate of the folks that share the road with anyone who would consider such a idiotic thought.

Anyone who thinks this is safe to use is just plain ignorant.

That rim and unsealed. unbeaded part of the tire is asking for a blowout. Problem is, not only can you loose control and hurt yourself, but the stupidity of driving on it usually causes someone else to get hurt, or killed.

And all because you did not want to install the spare, or you did not have a spare to use.

Do yourself and all the others who will be sharing the road with you, and did not have a chance to tell you NO, get a spare before you travel.

Honestly you can probably drive on that. I had that happen to my car and I drove on it for about 3 months and it was worse than that. But I wouldnt do it if you dont have to. Throw the spare on bud.

could someone have backed into you with a trailer hitch?

Do not drive it any distance at highway speed. If it was only a few miles home and on low speed roads it may be different.

Agreed. And that kinda looks like what happened. I don't see how anyone could hit a curb that hard and not remember it, even if alchohol was involved but that's another issue.

DO NOT DRIVE THAT RIM DOWN THE HIGHWAY. "The life you save, could be your own"

I wouldn't exceed 35 on that thing......

If he hit that curb that hard he should have scuff marks on the tire and scratches on the rim

"NO" - You shouldn't drive on that.
Maybe across town to get it fixed.
But acouple hundred miles, after you posted pic's on this website is poor judgement.

Maybe a tire shop can fix it.

I was about to say the same thing. I do not think he has been waiting 3 months for these responses.
