Dreaded spark plug change "or so I thought"
So I bought my truck a couple months ago. It has the 5.4 with 128k miles. It had a slight miss and dealer said that the plugs hasn't ever been changed. They wanted me to pay em to change the plugs. Lol I thought oh no, so I've been seafoaming like crazy and running lots of PEA cleaner thru it. Well I did the plug change last night. I started to loosen a plug and the ratchet just turns like its not on it. I thought it was already broke. Come to find out every plug on the driver side was loose. Someone had already replaced em and they used crappy autolite's. Only had 2 that acted like they were stuck. They were the the back ones on the pass side. It only took me about an hour and a half to change all of them. So the truck runs like new now with the SP-515's in it. Glad I have the worry of broken plugs over with. : )
