Default Dome Light INOP

I have an 05 f150 XLT with no sunroof. So I pulled my dome light down really quickly to check to see what kind of bulb is in it to change them to LED's. After I took out the bulbs and then put them back in, the light will no longer illuminate. I checked the fuses, I believe it was spot 23 and 24. They checked out. I know the bulbs sockets deal with polarity so I tried rotating them and it still did not work. Any ideas?

Alright so I'm going to tell you the easy way that I fixed this on mine. The led bulbs that I had fit into the socket. But the fit was not tight enough to get them to light up. So what I did was grab the old light bulbs I grabbed some pliers and then pulled the end caps off, the pieces that actually snaps into the socket on the lightbulb. slipped the end caps onto the end caps of the led bulbs and then snapped them in and they worked.

I get what you're saying, but I have the twist in bulbs. So not sure this would do anything for me. Check out the picture of the bulbs I have.

Take a meter and see if you're getting power to the light. Also check that your copper contacts on the bulb housing haven't broke and are making a good connection.

Doh. I see. My truck doesn't have those anywhere. So I have no idea. Maybe worth a shot to check your fuses again. Any fuses that have to do with lighting or the overhead PowerPoint. Courtesy lights. Interior lights, dome lights. I know on my 07 there is like 5 or 6 fuses that all go to interior lighting.

I will check all the fuses again. Here is a pic of the copper wiring. Everything appears intact. Where are the relays located??
