Trying to find out if theres a low fuel light. Read somewhere its a chime. I never run my truck below 1/4 tank but my wife took it this weekend. I jumped in it this morning and the needle is hovering at the "E". Anyway, theres no light on and no chime. Its a 5.4 scab fx4 (if that matters)

Yes. My 05 would come on when I had about 50 miles left. I know this because on a roadtrip to TN. It came on and I skipped the exit, the next one came about 40 miles later and I put 26.5xx gallons in my 27 gallon tank.

My 04 SCREW 5.4L chimes then a 'low fuel' message shows up where the odometer is

Ok. Guess I'll throw the gas container in the bed and go for a ride! Either something will come on or the truck stops Thanks guys.
