Have an 06 f150 5.4l with 164,000 m. I was just wondering if anyone else has a truck that rattles. My doors, bed, and something in my engine compartment rattles. It drives me crazy!! I dont abuse my truck, I try an take care of it. But it might just be because if the miles?

My 04 has 165k on it and the only thing that rattles...that I'm aware of at the moment is the ashtray if I close it...I took the drop in insert out and it helps a little

At 85k the only noise I have is a faint rattle in the drivers door (only sometimes) and the ashtray when I hit bumps.

Same here! I put some electrical tape between the speaker grill and the armrest and it helped

Mine makes some noises from time to time, but shes getting old, so I write it up to that. haha

i have aqn 07 screw and if I hit a good bump it sounds like my drivers door isnt shut all the wat but it is, it gets that loud thump

I had a rattle in the door but I had the door panel off for a window issue and while it was off I put several layers of duct tape between the door lock stem and the door frame. Took care of it.
The middle of my dash rattles against my windshield and right now I have a folded up piece of paper shoved between them, looking for a longer term solution.

The only part of my 04 that rattles is sometimes on cold days, there's a faint rattle somewhere in the dash between the cluster and the radio, I looked for what was causing it when I replaced a couple bulbs on my cluster, but couldn't find it. Keep in mind that I have to drive a minimum of 5 miles on extremely washboarded gravel roads before I hit the highway, plus a lot of the side roads in my town are still cobblestone that shakes the hell out of vehicles. With what my truck gets to deal with, I can't complain about that tiny little rattle at rare times.
